Sephir's Altar

"I, Sephir, the descendant of the Radiant Moon and the Benevolent Mother, the Last Savior of the Sacred Tree, the True Master of the Ahib, and the most rightful successor to the throne of the Queen of O'dyllita, acknowledged by Mother through the Serpent of Truth she sent, stand here to declare that, from this day forth, my name is Sephir Odore. I shall have the deceiver Viorencia Odore removed from the Thornflower Throne, for she has obscured the minds of our sisters for far too long. I shall make the vile Ganelle and the foolish Humans who serve the God of Depravity pay for their sins. I shall offer the light of this world to Mother, who must be weary after imprisoning the God of Depravity within the Blackstar, restore Her former glory, and make all kneel before Her. Ibedor, the Serpent of Truth, bears witness to this sacred and supreme vow. On the day Mother's Black Sun rises at long last, vengeance shall be fulfilled, and every knee shall bow before me." Sephir, who named herself Odore. At Sephir's Altar lingers a vision she drew upon the floor in dark crimson blood. It was not of this world, but of another bathed in a fierce light that seemed poised to devour all creation. Blood flowed from the Kamasylve there. As it pooled into a spring, the Kamasylve withered and died. Yet from that spring, a seed of Kamasylve raised its head. Wolves gave their lives to protect the seed from the light of ruin, and at last, it sprouted. A black leaf, identical in shape to those of the goddess Sylvia's Kamasylve, unfurled. Then it declared to the God of Depravity, who cast forth the light of ruin: "I shall bring you vengeance and despair."
